“What lies before you will never be greater than God who stands behind you!”
How true is this quote! One year ago we faced a mountain of challenges, it seemed to be impossible to climb that mountain and now we left it behind. Praise the Lord!
End of August 2019 Christoph successfully completed his aircraft mechanic training in Ionia, Michigan and is now a certified airframe and powerplant mechanic. After saying goodbye to some dear friends, we made our way to our next destination – Burlington, North Carolina. The 14-hour road trip was exhausting, but in the evening we arrived safely at our accommodation. In the following days, we had to make a cozy home besides caring for our 4 energy bundles. Our accommodation is part of Siloam. This organization has set itself the goal to provide homes for short time stays to missionaries.
Our organisation MAG – missionary air group has its headquarter in Burlington. Here, Christoph will work in this final training phase in the aircraft hangar to gain mechanical experience and to receive additional flight training. MAG is currently building a new project in Central America: The construction of a new runway, an aircraft hangar and the renovation of existing houses. From this base, remote areas in Honduras will be supplied with medical help and other necessary items and be reached with the gospel by air.
Our kids are doing well: Tobias is enjoying playing with other kids in the forest without mom for the first time, Elia is building his beloved Lego sets, Aaron is doing well when he’s very close to mom and Elise has always scratched knees and keeps up with her wild brothers. Nina keeps everything in order at home, does her best to educate and train our children well and can enjoy a cup of coffee and a good book every now and then.
Since our preparation and later work is carried by donations and our own resources, we would be happy if you would also support us and make our work possible. At the same time, we want to thank everyone for all the encouragements, prayers and gifts, without you we could not do that.
