Last week Honduras was struck by Hurricane Eta. The heavy rain caused severe flooding, destroying streets, houses and crops. Many people have lost everything, some died. The standing water also causes diseases. The MAG hospital, located in the east of the country, served temporarily as a shelter for affected people from Rus Rus. MAG is currently working with several partner organizations to provide quick disaster relief. Several planes will be flown to badly affected areas such as Rus Rus to deliver relief supplies.
What can we do?
Unfortunately we as family and team are not on site yet to help. At the moment we are still in the middle of our final team building and flight training. The first family will go to Honduras in January, our deployment is planned for February / March 2021. We are glad to be part of this team to pass on God’s comfort and love as well as to help people.
In the meantime we ask you to pray for Honduras.
